Football Ilmari Niskanen, who is also known for his owls, will move from Germany to the Scottish League

Niskanen’s new club is Dundee United.

Soccer player Ilmari Niskanen continues his career in the Scottish League at Dundee United. Niskanen’s new club announced its acquisition today. Niskanen moves to Scotland from Ingolstadt, who plays in the 2nd German Bundesliga.

Niskanen, 23, moved to Germany last autumn from the Kuopio Ball Club. He has played six A national matches in Huuhkaji, but was not involved in the European Championship team. His responsibility in Ingolstadt towards the end of last season remained quite small. Even at the beginning of last season, the responsibility came well.

“We believe he’s a perfect fit for the Scottish game as well as the style of play we want. I am hopeful that once he is fit to play and has been allowed to play, he will give us a lot and will be an important player for us, ”said Dundee head coach Tam Courts on the club’s website.

Dundee United have played two games in the Scottish League this season and won one of them. The club says it hopes that Niskanen will be available to the team as soon as possible. Before that, he has to get his work permit in order.
