Football HS sources: Matej Hradecky is moving from HIFK back to Seinäjoki

The flow of HIFK players and coaches from Töölö to Ostrobothnia continues.

Finished Played in HIFK during the Veikkausliiga season Matej Hradecky, 26, will move to Seinäjoki Football Club (SJK) next season, according to HS sources.

196-centimeter defensive player Hradecky moved to HIFK last spring, where he played 23 games during the season. Hradecky played as a central defender in HIFK’s line of defense.

A Northern Ireland midfielder has already transferred from HIFK to SJK Jake Dunwoody, 23, about which the 2 + 1-year contract was announced by SJK last Monday.

HIFK coached last season Joaquin Gómez is the new head coach of SJK, and understandably he is looking for players who have played well in HIFK to his new club. Dunwoody acquired Gómez through its relationship with HIFK.

Matej Hradecky has played 105 matches in the Veikkausliiga, in which he has scored six goals. In the national team, Hradecky has played in two winter matches, in which new players are screened for the national team.
