Football England kicked the country’s longest penalty shootout ever

Sub-teams Old Wulfrunians and Lane Head made English football history by kicking the longest penalty shootout ever in an official competition match, BBC news.

The polka dot race was seen in the first round of the JW Hunt Cup. A total of 44 shots were fired, which is ten times more than the previous record.

The penalty kicks began on Tuesday at 9:35 p.m. local time, and the solution was not reached until well after ten o’clock. The winning goal was scored by Old Wulfrunians’ Outside Defender, the son of the club’s chairman Jack Marsh. The final score was 19-18.

Chairman Simon Marsh didn’t see most of the thrill play as he had to leave to pick up the team’s food order from the local food stall. Fish and french fries were served in the traditional English way.
