Football clubs leave Platform X – morality or calculation?

It may seem honorable that more and more professional football clubs are leaving Platform X. But the withdrawal only guarantees applause within a benevolent echo chamber – and costs comparatively little.

While the Green Party’s candidate for chancellor recently paid homage to a 1990s hit Take That (“Back for good”) reported back on the social network, first FC St. Pauli and shortly afterwards SV Werder Bremen announced their withdrawal from the club.
