The young star struck four times against Everton.

English In the Premier League, Chelsea showed a place in the closet to Everton on their home field by taking a 6–0 victory. Monday night's absolute star was Chelsea's Cole Palmerwho scored four goals in Everton's net.

The 21-year-old Palmer punished Everton immediately in the 13th minute and then again in the 18th and 29th minutes. His last hit of the night came from a penalty kick after 64 minutes of the match had been played.

British Broadcasting Corporation the BBC Palmer has hit every one of his nine penalties in the Premier League. Still, he had to argue with his teammates for the ball against Everton. Also Nicholas Jackson and Noni Madueke would have liked to try to score from the spot.

After the match Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino criticized Jackson and Maduke, as Palmer is the team's pre-arranged penalty shooter.

“I don't accept this kind of behavior,” Pochettino said.

According to Pochettino, Chelsea's players are still young and still have a lot to learn.

Palmer has scored 20 goals this season and has now overtaken Manchester City at the top of the league Erling Haaland's alongside. Palmer just moved to Chelsea from Manchester City last September. He scored the first Premier League goal of his career in October.

Chelsea is currently ninth in the league. Everton, on the other hand, is in 16th place, and is still holding on to its Premier League place. However, there is only two points behind Luton, who are currently 18th below the relegation zone.

Everton said on Monday on their website that it has filed an appeal against a point penalty it received last week for breaching financial rules. Everton were punished with the loss of two league points. The Premier League, on the other hand, said on Monday that the appeal would be processed in an expedited manner.

In November, Everton received a penalty of no less than ten points, which was reduced to six minus points after the club's appeal. Last week, however, two more deduction points clicked for Everton.

According to the rules of the Premier League, clubs are allowed to make a maximum loss of 105 million pounds, or about 123 million euros, in a three-year period.

The six-point penalty came as the report found Everton made a £124.5m loss in the three-year period ending in 2021-22. The fresh two-point deduction comes as Everton breached the limit on allowable losses by £16.6m in the period ending in 2022-23.
