SQUARE ENIX ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW SEASON OF FOAMSTARS – “FUTURE FUNK”

Three brand new maps – a VIP resort island, a cemetery and a circus – set the stage for more foam party battles.

MILAN (17 May 2024) – SQUARE ENIX® announced the launch of FUTURE FUNKthe fourth season of FOAMSTARS™. FUTURE FUNK offers players three vibrant new maps to frolic, slide and battle. Events Extreme Party of this season bring the fray of all Coiff Guy In the Pitchside Homerun Party! where the goal is to knock opponents into the water, while the One-Shot Chill Party upgrade your FOAMSTAR with a one-hit takedown ability. Also returnsHappy FriYAY Partywhich will give players the chance to try out the new ones FOAMSTAR of next season.

FUTURE FUNK includes:

• Season 4 features a new map for each game mode:

or Smash the Star: Battle in the luxury VIP resort Manami An, a floating island in the sea that is home to a vast Zen garden.

or Happy Bath Survival: The Ghoulish Glide Graveyard takes players to a terrifying theme park, with devious paths and a giant coffin taking center stage.

or Rubber Duck Party: The big tent of a Bath Vegas circus troupe, Sing Swing Circus, will see FOAMSTARS battle for control of the duck with the help of launch pointers to speed up shortcuts and a bridge to maintain position.

• Extreme Party: Take out other players from a brand new map in Coiff Guy Pitchside Homerun Party! And don’t miss the One-Shot Chill Party, a 2-vs-2 battle where you can foam an opponent with a single shot.
• New free skins: Take on limited-time challenges to unlock 8 new skins inspired by hololive virtual streamers.
