The floods|A state of emergency has been declared in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Bosnia and Herzegovina at least 22 people have already died in the experienced floods and landslides, the authorities said on Tuesday.
Six people are still missing as more heavy rains are expected in the country.
Authorities issued an evacuation order for the southern districts of Jablanica and Konjic, which were affected by Friday’s floods, where 19 people were killed. Rescue patrols were looking for four people in Jablanica and two people in Konjic who were still missing on Tuesday evening.
Floods and landslides destroyed roads, railways and bridges on Friday and cut off access to several areas. Numerous houses and cars were left under mud and water masses.
A state of emergency has been declared in the country due to a natural disaster. Aid forces from four different countries have been sent to Bosnia-Herzegovina through the EU rescue service mechanism to support local rescue workers.
