With the triumph, Rubro-Negro remains in the second place in the competition with 45 points, while the team from Rio Grande do Sul is in 15th position with 28 points.
Without being able to count on names like Bruno Henrique, Gabriel Barbosa and Arrascaeta, the team led by coach Renato Gaúcho dominated the first stage, opening a 3-0 lead, thanks to goals by Kenedy, on 11 minutes, by Pedro, on 25, and Andreas Pereira, at 34 with a beautiful free kick.

Juventude still managed to cash in the 11th minute of the final stage, thanks to a goal by full-back William Matheus, headed by a corner kick, but the final triumph was really for Gávea’s team.
In the next round, Flamengo receives Cuiabá at Maracanã on Sunday (17). On the same day, Juventude visit Grêmio in Porto Alegre.
Tie at Arena Condá
Who was in the tie this Wednesday were Chapecoense and Athletico-PR. The match played at Arena Condá ended 1-1. The result left Hurricane, who scored with Christian, in 8th place with 34 points, while Verdão do Oeste, who had a goal by Matheus Ribeiro, remains in the lantern of the competition, now with 13 points.
