Five people have been injured, of which two are potentially seriously injured – including a minor – after a frontolateral collision between two vehicles at kilometer 38 of the M-40, in the municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón.
As reported by Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid, the accident took place this Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. As explained by a Firefighters spokesperson, Five people were traveling in one of the cars. and in the other a single driver who was unharmed.
The five people in the same vehicle have been injured, although of varying severity. Three of them serious (including a minor) and two potentially serious. They have been treated and transferred by Summa 112 to different hospitals; one to the Puerta de Hierro Hospital, the two serious ones to the La Paz University Hospital and two other potentially minor ones to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital.
Likewise, there have been people three basic life support units in addition to advanced life support and the Summa 112 logistical support team.
The Firefighters have been in charge of rescuing three people from the back seats of the car and the Local Police and Civil Protection have provided their collaboration. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation
