First images of the ‘electric super-GT’: the first after the ‘rebirth’ of this historic brand

It was a complete mystery in purely aesthetic terms, but now Jaguar has released a first look at what it will look like. its new design language for its range of ‘zero emissions’ cars. The British company will evolve significantly starting next year 2025, as this will be when it is ‘reborn’ to present itself as an even more luxurious firm made up exclusively of electric cars.

But, as we say, Jaguar has published what its first electric model will look like through some images with significant camouflage, but its main shapes and what will be the company’s new design language are perfectly distinguishable. Let us remember that in its renewal, Jaguar will put on the market a GT, an SUV and a representative sedanall of them in electric format.

First images of the ‘new life’ for Jaguar

It is clear, after seeing the images, that Jaguar will put on the market an electric vehicle capable of standing up to the Porsche Taycan, in purely terms of design. The front will be characterized by very rectangular shapes and remarkably straight lines. It will also have a large front ‘grill’, although this should be completely faired to gain a lot in terms of aerodynamics.

In the profile you can distinguish a very coupe-style roof line, which culminates almost at the end of the vehicle itself. The nose will be of great lengthwhile the front windshield will incorporate a significant inclination, also to generate an aerodynamic improvement in the car. On the other hand, it is obvious that it will be a high-performance model, since its brake calipers are very generous.

The British brand has not published any images of its rear, so this part still remains a complete mystery. However, all signs point to this, as happens in other models such as the Polestar 4it will not have a standard rear window. On the other hand, this glass will be completely covered, so it will use elements such as an interior mirror in the form of a screen.

Of the interior, all the main elements that it will have are also unknown. However, sources close to the company have pointed out that Jaguar will opt for a minimalist cabinwith the strictly necessary physical buttons and a space that will be starred by a large central screen.

Jaguar’s greatest emphasis will come from its luxurious interior, with high quality seats and an ode to comfort for its occupants. In the same way, the brand will not give up the sportiness that this electric car will have because, remember, it will offer a power of up to 575 hp and a maximum torque that could well be around 700 or 800 Nm. Its electric autonomy will be detailed at around 700 kilometers.

At the moment no further details are known about this baptized ‘electric super-GT’. The brand will reveal all the details of the same at an upcoming event to be held on December 2. The starting price for this first electric car is predicted to not drop below 100,000 euros.
