Two-story the upper floor of the log building is badly damaged in a fire in Järvenperä, Espoo, the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department says on Twitter.
The Rescue Department received a report of a fire on Pellaksenmäentie shortly before four in the morning on Saturday.
No injuries have been caused by the fire. 12 rescue units were alerted to the scene.
In charge firefighter Ari Kujala The Rescue Department of Western Uusimaa estimates that at about seven in the morning, the extinguishing and clearing work will continue for hours.

According to Kujala’s information, the detached house building upholstered in boards was empty at the time of the fire. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
