Fires | Fire in Alppila, Helsinki – rescuers carried two unconscious dogs out of the apartment

According to the rescue service, no one was injured in the fire. Two dogs were given supplemental oxygen due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Helsinki A fire broke out in the apartment of an apartment building on Kotkankatu in Alpilla on Sunday at around 7:30 in the evening.

According to initial information, eight emergency services units went to the scene.

The rescue service of the city of Helsinki said on Twitter a little after 7 o’clock that the fire has been put out and the apartment is being ventilated.

Emergency services says that he found several animals in the apartment during smoke diving.

No people were injured in the fire, but two dogs were carried out of the apartment unconscious, the rescue service says on Twitter.

The dogs were given supplemental oxygen due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The dogs have since escaped, and the rescue service transported them to the University Animal Hospital in Viikki.
