In the Moscow region, by the beginning of the school year, fire systems and video cameras of schools will be checked. This was announced on Wednesday, August 31, by the governor of the region Andrei Vorobyov during a meeting with law enforcement agencies.
According to the official, on the eve of September 1, special attention is paid to everything related to the security regime of schools, colleges and universities. According to him, it is important that none of the objects is left without attention.
“Alarm buttons, a fire alarm system, CCTV cameras, safe roads – everything must be checked for compliance with the standard and ready for the school year,” Vorobyov was quoted as saying by the TV channel. “360”.
The meeting was attended by the prosecutor of the Moscow region, the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Investigative Committee.
It is noted that on September 7 in the Moscow region there will be a general evacuation training at all mass facilities, including schools.
On August 30, Stanislav Kolesnik, head of the department for organizing law enforcement in the residential sector of the main department for ensuring the protection of public order and coordinating interaction with the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, said that the necessary base has been prepared in Russian schools to ensure security on the eve of the new academic year, in particular September 1.
In early August, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reported that all schools in the country should open in person on September 1. As noted “Federal News Agency”, educational institutions are ready for the start of the new academic year. There are no plans to transfer educational institutions in the border areas to distance learning.
