“The drug test taken from Prime Minister Sanna Marin on August 19, 2022 did not show the presence of drugs,” the president’s office said in a statement, specifying that the results were signed “by a doctor.” In case there was any doubt about the reliability of the test, Iida Vallin, special adviser to the prime minister, explained to AFP that it was a “comprehensive” exam and “we did not choose where it was done.”
Marin, 36, who in December 2019 became the youngest chief executive in the history of Finland, chose to remain silent after the publication of the results.
