Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will arrive at the end of February 2024 and Square Enix is slowly revealing more and more details about the action role-playing game. In a recent interview with Game Informer, game director Naoki Hamaguchi also revealed that something from the original game was not included in this new version: the snowboarding minigame.
Naoki Hamaguchi revealed this detail but had no chance to elaborate further, as the interview included 129 “rapid-fire” questions.
Obviously it is not impossible that he will be introduced in the third part of Final Fantasy 7 remakes, but this is just speculation and we have no comment from Square Enix.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, what can we expect?
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Once again it will be an action role-playing game with a tactical pause that allows you to control all (or almost all) of the characters on the team. Furthermore, in this version of the combat system we will also have combined moves between the various characters, which will guarantee even more attack variety. There will also be no shortage of evocations and the use of Matter.
In terms of content, there will be other minigames, as well as various secrets to discover within an open map (remember that Remake was almost totally linear).
Finally, we remind you that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available for pre-order on Amazon, with a steelbook as a gift.
