Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is finally available (if you haven't already done so, here you can find our review of the highly anticipated title) and, as usual, fans have started asking questions about all the content that has changed from the original version of the title to the current one .
One detail in particular was examined during an interview (via PSU) to the game director, Naoki Hamaguchi. We are talking about Rocket Town, a setting that is completely absent in Rebirth.
“So, as for Rocket Town, this was also not part of Nojima-san's original structure… and considering that the way we introduce the character, Cid, for the Remake series is organized a little differently this time, Nomura- san and I, and in general everyone, agreed with this decision to consider him for the next title.”
“Considering that in the original the Gongaga area was optional for players, we wanted to delve deeper into this and express it more thoroughly for Rebirth. And so that was an additional consideration as well.”
There will certainly be some time to wait before you can get your hands on itthe third and final chapter of the legendary remake of Final Fantasy 7, but it is interesting to note how the authors are already working to make all the pieces fit together.
