Ahead of the launch of The Rising Tide, Square Enix has announced the arrival of the patch 1.31 Of Final Fantasy 16 the next April 18i.e. the same day of publication of the second DLC.
The update, in addition to preparing the game for the new content, makes some changes to the combat. For example, it will increase the player's attack outside of some specific Eikon battles. Not only that, it will also adjust the balance of some Eikon abilities, mostly strengthening the less popular ones.
For example, Ramuh's Blind Justice (circle button) now allows Clive to move faster and dodge during execution and once the attack is unleashed two instances of lightning will be performed and the character will return to position more quickly. Or again, the move Wings of Light by BahamutYour text to link… (which results in a Megaflare) now performs a dodge on activation and triggers a “Megaflare Dodge” whenever you avoid a timed enemy attack.
Lots of news ahead of The Rising Tide
The update also improved the effectiveness of a series of accessories and added a feature that allows you to save 5 different Eikon skill sets and the ability to change the control layout.
The patch notes also include a long series of bug fixes, more and less known, corrections and changes related to certain quests, added new NPCs in some settlements and others. For more information, please refer to the complete notes on the official Square Enix website.
As already mentioned, the update will accompany the launch of The Rising Tide, the second expansion of Final Fantasy 16 which will take players to the land of Mysidia to face a new adventure closely linked to the Eikon Leviathan.
