The electrification of the Fiat range is proceeding at full speed. And from the market there are rather encouraging responses for the Turin brand: even in February, as in January, the new generation of the 500, offered in the electric version only, was the best-selling full electric car on the Italian market, with a large advantage over the first rivals. The success of the small battery powered by Fiat was also testified by the eloquent record for segment A, where the new 500 has exceeded 50% of the market share.
Clearly, Fiat’s electric ambitions cannot pass only from the 500. For this reason, Fiat has announced the expansion of its range of zero-emission models with the launch of the new E-Ulysse, which will make its entry into the minivan segment becoming the second fully electric car in the range. As for the commercial vehicleson the other hand, Fiat Professional wants to continue to demonstrate its significant presence with the new Scudo, the second commercial vehicle after the E-Ducato in an electric version. To reduce emissions from the range, however, Fiat is also banking on hybrid: on this front, thanks to the 48 Volt hybrid technologynow present on 500X Hybrid and Tipo Hybrid, Fiat proves to be able to offer a sustainable mobility solution, embracing different mobility needs: the concrete result materializes in lower consumption and CO2 emissions reduced by up to 11%.
