It was March 4, 2004 when Fiat took advantage of the setting of the Geneva Motor Show to reveal to the whole world the “500 Trepiuno”, an urban mobility concept that turns 20 today. And what better way to celebrate this anniversary than by launching a new special series recalling that prototype? Is called “500 Trepiuno tribute“, was created by the Stellantis Heritage department, is dedicated to collectors and will be made in limited numbers and sold as part of the Reloaded By Creators project. Not only that: Fiat lets it be known that each example will be an authentic collector's item and for this reason it will be accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.
Twenty years ago
This special series is characterized by white livery, inspired by the color of the 2004 concept, on which the rear lights with red insert and the logos with the writing “Fiat” on a blue background stand out. From an aesthetic point of view, the five split-spoke Sport rims with dedicated cup also deserve a mention. Inside the passenger compartment there is no shortage of references to the 2004 concept of the same name: one element above all is the two-tone combination of the original prototype, with the front seats covered in two-tone white/red-brown full-grain leather with specific saddlery and the rear seats where the full-grain leather covering is white in the seat while it is red-brown for the backrest.
References to the past
Remaining inside the car, the logo ” stands outTrepiuno XX” embroidery that stands out on all four seats and emphasizes the 20th anniversary of the original concept. And still speaking of colours, the brown red also characterizes the coverings of the internal panels, which recall the 360° band of the concept, and the dashboard, the latter with a precious band engraved with the original drawings of the Trepiuno concept, created at the time by Roberto Giolito. And it was just the same Giolitoat the time head of Advanced Design of the FIAT Group and currently Head of Stellantis Heritage, to reveal some details relating to this new project.

“The 500 Tributo Trepiuno is our homage to a concept that played a role key role in the evolution of Fiat's contemporary history – he said – And precisely to celebrate this very important anniversary, the Heritage team is bringing into the world a limited number of collector's items which bring back, on board a modern 500 Hybrid, the immediacy of that design which was the first Big Bang of the contemporary, authentic 500 milestone in the more than one hundred year history of Fiat and a symbol of Italian creativity and ingenuity which has entered the collective imagination”.
