This Wednesday the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) began the search of an address in Lomas de San Miguel, Atizapan of Zaragozaand looking for more victims of the alleged serial femicide Andrés “N”.
And it is that, according to the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office, the house next to the suspect’s house, in Margaritas manzana 37, Hills of San Miguelcould hold clues about other victims, or help identify the remains found in the house of the accused.
While so far the FGJEM has only been able to find the identity of six women murdered by Andrés, 72 years old, while according to the bone remains found in his home these would amount to 19.
“The investigations have not given up on the matter related to Andrew “N”that is why we have found the possible relationship in all these matters with a second property, which is adjacent to the first one that was searched and that has continued to be investigated and safeguarded until now, ”said the prosecutor for the Attention of Related Crimes to gender violence, Dilcya Garcia Espinoza de los Monteros.
While until now at the address where Andrés “N” lived, they were found around 4 thousand 300 bone remains of at least 19 people, as well as notebooks with names of people, their descriptions and photographs, jewelry, identifiers, women’s bags, shoes and videos in 9 mm and VHS format.
To this end, the Edomex Prosecutor’s Office formed an interdisciplinary team made up of Investigative Policebefore the Public ministry and expert witnesses in the search for new clues, as they did in the first home since last May, when they apprehended the alleged serial femicide.
The case so far
While so far the FGJEM has only been able to establish the identity of 6 victims, after comparing the bone remains with the genetic samples of 11 families whose missing wife could have been a victim of Andrés “N”:

Finally, the FGJEM stressed that the investigations will continue in order to find the identity of the remaining 13 victims, whose number was determined by analyzing whether the bone remains found belonged to the right or left side of the person.
