Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa.- A sentence of 50 years for the crime of kidnapping was the sentence issued in the Oral Trial hearing to four subjects who, on November 13, 2017 deprived of his liberty a resident of the Alfonso F. Calderón town in the El Carrizo Valleyand for whom they demanded 10 million pesos for their ransom.
Personnel of the Public Ministry, attached to the Specialized Anti-kidnapping Unit northern region of this State Attorney General’s Office, presented the results of the investigation folder with sufficient evidence, which proved the guilt of the accused before the Judge of criminal case 584/2022.
Those sentenced today are Melkizedeth “U”, Carlos Eduardo “M”, Gustavo Alfredo “L”, and Israel “M”, who must also pay a fine of 4 thousand UMAS, as well as compensation for the damage of 1 million 46 thousand 500 pesos. , which is the payment of the ransom they asked for their victim, as well as 13 thousand pesos, the value of a cell phone.
In the sentence issued, they are also required to pay 18 thousand pesos for psychological treatment for the victim who was 27 years old at the time.
The events occurred in the early hours of November 13, 2017 when the victim was asleep, who was taken from his home, located in the town of Alfonso G. Calderón, in the El Carrizo Valley.
The first call from the kidnappers was that same day demanding the payment of 10 million pesos, but in the end it was negotiated to make a total of 1 million 46 thousand 500 pesos in two payments, which occurred on December 1, since this group of subjects had sent videos and a finger that was cut off the victim, to the family.
