Mikkeli The music festival has decided that the long-term partner of the festival is the orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater and the director general of the Mariiski Theater, conductor Valery Gergiev will not perform at next summer’s festival.

Valery Gergiev has been the artistic director of the Mikkeli Music Festival for 30 years.
