We needed an idea that would characterize the Ferrari World Finals which will be scheduled in Imola from 15 to 21 October 2024. For the third time in its history, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari will host the traditional Cavallino event, after the 2022 editions and 1998, and for this event a nice surprise has been thought of: Sunday will be enriched by an unprecedented novelty: the Ferrari Show.
What is it about? Of a parade that will bring the cars of Maranello’s sporting programs from the city center to the circuit: the parade will open with the two 499P protagonists in the WEC and winners at Le Mans in 2024 with Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen, and in 2023, with Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi. Behind the Hypercars there will also be the 296 GT3 which this year celebrated the historic success at the 24 Hours of Daytona with Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra.

The 296 Challenges protagonists of the Ferrari Challenge and dozens of cars from the non-competitive programs reserved for customers will also liven up the Ferrari Show. The show will culminate shortly after 2pm on the main straight with the playing of the National Anthem and an evocative Air Show.
The Ferrari Show will allow the citizens of Imola and the Cavallino fans to admire the queens of the WEC very closely, since, as happened last year at Mugello, the paddock will not be open to the public, but only the stands.

In a press conference held in the Imola press room, the program of the Ferrari World Finals was revealed in the presence of Gian Carlo Minardi (President of Formula Imola), Giammaria Manghi (Head of the Political Secretariat of the Presidency of the Emilia-Romagna Region), Antonello Coletta (Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti), Marco Panieri (Mayor of Imola) and Alessio Rovera, official Ferrari driver.
“Returning to Imola two years after the last time – explained Antonello Coletta -, when in 2022 we presented to the world the 499P which would debut in the FIA WEC the following March, is a great satisfaction as well as a source of pride. Over the last two years we have achieved three world championship victories with our Hypercar, including the two historic successes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans: results that certify the quality of our flagship project in endurance racing. The World Finals, by tradition, are a special event which, in addition to hosting the last events of the international Ferrari Challenge series, sees many drivers and teams competing for the titles of world champions on the track. A movement, that of our flagship store, which is continually growing as evidenced by the number of participants collected in this 32nd edition and the launch, from 2025, of the new regional Ferrari Challenge Australasia series”.
The construction of a “Ferrari city” which will enliven the World Finals has already begun in the Imola paddock. Marco Panieri, Mayor of Imola): “It is with great pride that we welcome the Ferrari World Finals again here in Imola, at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. After the great success of the 2022 edition and the return of Ferrari in style, we can only be thrilled to welcome this extraordinary event which celebrates one of the most iconic Italian excellences in the world.”

“Ferrari, with its legendary history and its commitment on the track, continues to amaze and the Enzo and Dino Ferrari is not just a track: it is a symbol of our history, a place designed and founded by illustrious figures, starting by Enzo Ferrari. Returning to racing here means returning home for Ferrari, and for Imola it means re-embracing a piece of its identity. We are ready to experience an extraordinary event together, where the present and future of racing meet, celebrating Ferrari in all its forms.”
The two races of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe and North America will take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th; Qualifying and the Superpole of the Finali Mondiali will take place on Saturday 19th, scheduled for Sunday 20th, before the Ferrari Show.
