Looking at the photographs accompanying the sale announcement of the Ferrari Enzo year 2003 in white Avus, unique car, it seems to look at the breathtaking protagonist of a show set in Miami. In this supercar produced in Maranello all the glamor, beauty and power that only is summed up an Enzo in a white dress can give.
In the description of the Enzo lot on sale between 29 and 30 June, drawn up by RM Sotheby’s, there are some noteworthy highlights: the car today has only 9,600 kilometers under its belt (and with a very recent service, March 2022); it is the only one out of Maranello with the Eextracampionario Bianco Avus shade; she has been essentially hidden and practically stationary for more than a decade.
The Enzo in Bianco (chassis 133023) rolled off the assembly line in May 2003 and was registered in Germany in the same year, with black fabric for the interior, seats in carbon fiber size XL, Rosso Corsa instrumentation and digital dashboard. She frequented the Swiss Alps, in the hands of a billionaire who was often able to use her for visibility purposes for her commercial activities, and then she emigrated to Hong Kong, where however she was never registered due to the stringent rules on the driving position.
Driving the Ferrari Enzo is the famous and reliable 651 horsepower six-liter V12, but for once it’s not the mechanics, albeit formidable, that drives the interest of collectors. The mix of color, reduced mileage and perfect conservation makes it truly special. Any Ferrari Enzo is, moreover, a rare jewel; however, being one of the 20 “Extra-sample” cars, ie finished in a non-standard color, we are talking about a truly unique car. Nobody else at the time chose Avus white: a particular eventuality, because there is no doubt that it is an extremely suggestive shade with great visual impact.
