Challenging each other at full speed on the highway is a dangerous as well as wicked idea and in most of these stunts end up causing more or less serious accidents. This is what happened, fortunately without particular consequences for the self-styled pilots, to the owners of one Ferrari 812 Superfast and a Seat Cupra Leon that decided to compete in the middle of the Israeli highway 6, overtaking at high speeds cars and trucks that were occupying one of the most important arteries in the country. The images of the improvised race and part of the aftermath were taken from the dashcam of another car, with the video immediately going viral.
In the clip they are clearly seen Ferrari and the Cupra Leon speeding in the first lane, passing a truck and exiting the camera for a moment, due to the presence of the heavy vehicle. At that point in the next frame you see flames raging and the high-performance Seat across the street, with several damaged parts. Later a similar fate also happened to the 812 Superfast, with missing parts in particular at the rear. According to what can be deduced from the images, it seems that the two cars came into contact during the overtaking phase, with the supercar of the Cavallino which will have to benefit from careful attention before returning to the road: the side airbags were activated in the impact and tailpipes appear to be damaged, which could prove to be very high for the owner.
Even worse went to the Cupra Leon, with the entire engine that appears to have been ripped out of the car. According to the testimonies of the motorists who witnessed the scene, Ferrari and Seat also hit the truck before losing control and ending their crazy race. Authorities said three people were slightly injured but refused treatment at the crash site. Fortunately, therefore, there would have been no serious consequences, with the owner of the Ferrari who will now have to deal with the repairs of a car that has come out of the order book of the Cavallino in these days.
