Shows of solidarity and support for the Valencian people continue to come from all areas of society. The business community is not immune to the situation, and more and more companies are joining the cause. It is the case of Fenie Energyan independent electricity and gas marketer made up of more than 3,000 installation companies, which has created an aid fund with an initial endowment of 300,000 euros for clients and installation companies.
This is one more push, and from an essential front such as energy, to recover normality as soon as possible after the passage of DANA through the province of Valencia. Feníe Energía promotes this fund for those who have been affected by the serious torrential rains and floods derived from last week, and is open to receiving donations to support this cause.
In this sense, the electricity marketer wants encourage the Spanish energy network to join forcesbeyond what they are already doing in their daily tasks to restore electricity to all the points affected by DANA.
Feníe Energía has 40 delegate companies in the affected areas, which provide service to more than 6,000 customers. After establishing contact with them and confirming that, fortunately, there have been no human losses, work has begun to help them reactivate their activities and care for affected customers, the company explains.
Some of these delegated companies have suffered first-hand the ravages of DANA: They have lost their commercial premises, offices or warehouses, and everything that was inside them, office and electronic supplies and machinery, in addition to many of them also losing their commercial vehicles and work vans. If these companies do not have immediate help, customers will not be able to restore power to their homes and premises.
Precisely for this purpose, Feníe Energía has delegated companies spread throughout Spain willing to travel to the affected areas to carry out repair work, to carry out what they themselves have called a “chain of solidarity.”
The installer company is going to channel this aid fund through its Foundation and hopes that the call will be responded to by all its interest groups. All those interested in collaborating can do so through a bank transfer or bizum to the Feníe Energía Foundation.
Once the aid begins to be distributed, the company will issue a transparency report detailing the destination and application of the funds raised.
