A new contender has appeared on the graphics accelerator market, Xindong Fenghua from China unveiled its first Fenghua No.1 graphics card, which uses a GPU developed by Innosilicon Technology. The novelty is positioned as a high-performance graphics solution for servers and cloud gaming.
The press release from the GPU developer it doesn’t go down in specs for the GPU which powers the Fenghua No.1 graphics card, but Innosilicon Technology says the chip has been tested and works well in data center graphics solutions available in the local market.

It is equipped with a cooling system with two fans and has a number of connectors typical of the latest gaming graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA. The website of Innosilicon Technology claims that the Fenghua No.1 graphics accelerator is equipped with GDDR6X memory chip. Recall that at the moment this memory standard is used exclusively by older NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series video card models. It has not been reported how the Chinese manufacturer succeeded. to negotiate with Micron, the only company that makes GDDR6X memory chips.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Fenghua No.1 video card presented is its support for various APIs, including DirectX. Additionally, the manufacturer claims support for Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenCL, and even OpenGL ES for the novelty.
