Then I thought it would be an opportunity to live a unique experience”, confirms to Ansa the athlete, third in the world ranking, who is part of the Carabinieri military sports group.
«Music – says Brignone – I have always liked, since I was a child, when I listened to Battisti with my mother. And I think that skiing is music too: every descent, every curve has its own rhythm that is always different. As a child I sang, even today I sing when I ski free. I really like rock, Dire Straits, Tracy Chapman, but I also love Italian artists, like Marco Mengoni, Laura Pausini. I learned to play the guitar and took hip hop courses, but I don't have much time, I'm always on the go.” Sport «is a continuous challenge with oneself, it requires commitment, seriousness, dedication. In my career I would never have expected to do the things I have done, every time I am surprised at being able to do it”, underlines Brignone, who arrives at the festival after Jannik Sinner's no to Amadeus' invitation: “Refusing is a difficult choice, but as an athlete I understand it, because you have your own program and you want to focus on that.
