Women find out little in advance about the first eight weeks after giving birth. It is a special time, because in addition to the joy of the newborn, mood swings, milk supply or post-menstrual flow can be a burden.
Dhe midwives Anja and Marie from Heidelberg give tips on what mothers and fathers should be prepared for during this intense time. One is: take it slow. Because the mother’s body needs time to regain strength. And the new family has to find itself.
