What if I had never tried is the title of Valentino Rossi’s 2006 biography. As a little boy he came into contact with karting, but there was always a love for motorcycles. “Then I was given the choice, partly because of finances: four or two wheels?” Rossi says in the 345-page book. It became two. “Karting was actually more serious, also because it was already professional at a lower level. But still I decided to go for the motorcycles. It immediately felt good, really good.”
