Facundo Manes gave another step towards competition electoral in the primaries of Juntos – the name that the opposition coalition will have in the province of Buenos Aires – against the list headed by Diego Santilli. The neuroscientist shared an activity in San Miguel with Emilio Monzó and the host Joaquín de la Torre, two leaders of Peronist origin that will be on your ballot.
Four days after the closing of the lists, and already practically confirmed the dispute in the PASO against the PRO -and the Civic Coalition as the main ally-, Manes exhibited two of the agreements which closed last week. The former head of the lower house will have a place on the list of deputies and the former mayor of San Miguel will be a candidate for provincial senator for the First Section. De la Torre will in turn take a relevant role in the design of the strategy, possibly as campaign manager, according to the radical shipowners.
With Miguel Pichetto on the side of Santilli, the Peronism of Juntos por el Cambio remained divided for the primaries in the main district of the country. The former senator will not be a candidate, but he agreed with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and the Buenos Aires deputy chief on the same day that Jorge Macri lowered his nomination. Néstor Grindetti -intendant of Lanús- also articulates a armed with leaders of origin in the PJ -named We Do-, to try to make foot in the Third Section.
Santilli It was shown this Tuesday in Vicente López with Jorge Macri, the mayor who until Thursday resisted his application in the Province and then sealed an agreement with Rodriguez Larreta and gave up competing with a third list in the PASO. Both toured works on the coast of the municipality and spread it at dusk.

Manes’s activity in a child-family development center in Santa Brígida, San Miguel, functioned as the first campaign photo after he confirmed his candidacy for deputy earlier this month. Maximiliano Abad – head of the Province Committee – and Alejandra Lorden, vice president of the UCR, were also there. Manes will go a lot to the Conurbano, and also to some cities in the interior, after the closing of lists.
“Where there are more needs of citizens, it will be”, assured a leader of his confidence, and ruled out the possibility of an agreement without the neurologist at the top of the list. “Radicalism proposed to lead the coalition, that is the mandate we have, which came from the internal and we can’t change it. On that basis we are ready to talk ”.
Manes will bet to generate a “Epic that penetrates deep into society” with a speech and proposals with which he will seek to install disruptive discussion axes during the campaign, with an emotional component and references to the stage prior to the triumph of Raúl Alfonsín.

“Radicalism is eager to lead a popular center coalition to summon all sectors to this cause. As democracy was in 1983, the UCR is convinced that it needs a new paradigm of knowledge ”, Manes alluded to that moment after the meeting in the National Committee.
Critic of the government of Mauricio Macri, of which he questioned in particular the lack of investment in health, science and technology, the neurologist will distance himself from the PRO and the management of Cambiemos. “We must learn from failures”, will be one of the concepts that will transmit, according to the campaign strategies. The table is made up of Abad, his brother Gastón -conventional of the UCR- and the newly incorporated allies. Ramiro Agulla, Daniel Ivoskus and Gastón Douek are already working on their profile as a candidate.
Margarita Stolbizer also agreed to join Juntos – the GEN will integrate the Manes lists – with the radicals, although it has not yet been defined whether she will be a candidate. “In the list there is no confirmed position,” they clarified. The negotiations will continue until closer to the closing, at the same time due to the discussions by the sectional and municipal armed groups. In the next few days there will be another photo with the former deputy and candidate for president.
In turn Santilli prepares its launch with another image of “unity”, as when María Eugenia Vidal confirmed her candidacy in the City. It will be before the weekend, with Rodríguez Larreta, Graciela Ocaña -second on the list-, Elisa Carrió -Juan López, Marcela Campagnoli and another from that space will be on the ballot-, Pichetto, Jorge Macri, Patricia Bullrich, Cristian Ritondo and the mayors Grindetti – campaign manager – Diego Valenzuela and Julio Garro, among others.
