The FAB (Brazilian Air Force) plane that will repatriate Brazilians who are in Lebanon took off from Lisbon (Portugal) this Saturday morning (5.Oct.2024). The information is from GloboNews. The KC-30 model had been on Portuguese soil since Wednesday (Oct 2), where it was awaiting authorization to go to Lebanon. The rescue was delayed due to increased Israeli bombing of civilian areas – including areas close to Beirut airport, the country’s capital. The plane took off at 6:55 am and should arrive in Beirut around 11 am.
