2022 will represent a year of renewal not only for Formula 1, with the new technical regulation that promises to clear the table in the Circus, but also in the preparatory categories. In F3 in particular, the teams that will be allowed to take part in the championship have been announced three-year period 2022-2024. Nine confirmations and one novelty, as emerges from the official press release issued by the leaders of the category. ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Carlin, Charouz Racing System, Hitech Grand Prix, Jenzer Motorsport, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing and Trident the teams already protagonists of the championship that will continue in their commitment.
To these stables is added the historic brand of Van Amersfoort Racing, which has been selected for the next round of the championship. Over the years, the Dutch team has achieved important results in the so-called ‘youth’ categories, including among its line-ups, over the years, riders of the caliber of Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Anthoine Hubert, Callum Ilott and Mick Schumacher. Instead, the team will leave the championship HWA RACELAB. The line-up with three cars per team has also been confirmed, for a complete grid of 30 drivers.
