The Chinese Grand Prix returns to be part of the Formula 1 calendar and to be held this year, set for next weekend in Shanghai, hosting the first of the six Sprint formats planned for the 2024 season.
GuanYu Zhou will finally be able to take part in his home race and will do so as a Formula 1 driver, with the Sauber team. To celebrate this event, the Chinese rider decided to have a special celebratory helmet made for his home race.
Zhou revealed it this morning on his pages on the main social networks. An idea born to put the Shanghai grid at the center of attention, the track that will host the race.
The basic color of the helmet is white, with the city grid branching out throughout the helmet thanks to different colors such as yellow, green, light blue, red, blue.

In the grid it is possible to see some typical Shanghai constructions, such as bridges, skyscrapers, trains on the railway, but also others that have always characterized China such as a temple colored red on the left side and a group of pandas on the opposite side.
The back part is very beautiful, featuring a photo of Zhou when he was a child and went to the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix holding a Renault flag in his hand (and Fernando Alonso depicted at the wheel of his single-seater). Just below the Shanghai route drawing.
Zhou, until now without any points in the first 4 outings of the 2024 World Championship, will go in search of his first Top 10 in front of his fans, giving Sauber his first smile. Even the Swiss team, like its driver, has not yet scored any points: in fact, even Valtteri Bottas has not yet achieved a top ten finish this season.
