Montreal, Canada.- Formula One has just witnessed an atypical moment in the 2024 season during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.

George Russell. He signed his second ‘Pole Position’ in the Maximum Category by making the fastest lap of the ‘Qualy’, the same one that ‘Mad Max’ tied in his last lap.
However, Formula One clarified that the Mercedes driver achieved that time before the Dutchman from Red Bull Racing, a fact that helped him stay at the top of the grid.
Who does not. had a good afternoon was the Mexican driver, Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez. Due to poor strategic timing his ‘RB20’ will start from sixteenth position in the race.
For 37 thousandths ‘Checo’ Pérez was sent to the elimination zone and that problem will make him push in the Canadian Grand Prix to try to rescue functional points for the 2024 Drivers’ Championship.
