Race results, classification and order of arrival for the F1 Singapore on the track of Marina Bay where the victory of the Red Bull by Sergio Perez who built his success with a perfect start against the Ferrari from Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari driver, who started from pole, did not find the necessary grip to defend the first position on a wet track and on a track where it was very difficult to overtake he was unable to overtake the Mexican. In third position he classified Carlos Sainz.
Despite the two drivers on the podium, Ferrari chews bitter even for one missed penalty to Perez, who will be investigated only after the race. Only 7th Verstappen who paid dearly for eighth place in qualifying on a winding track.
F1 GP Singapore 2022, results how the race went
Sergio Perez’s Red Bull was the first to cross the finish line in Marina Bay but the victory of the Singapore GP was not immediately formalized. The Mexican has twice broken the rule on minimum distance of the safety car and ended up under investigation.
Perez built his victory thanks to an amazing start, overtaking the first corner Leclerc starting from pole. The Ferrari driver finished the race 7 ″ 595 from the Mexican.
In third position on the podium was also the F1-75 of Carlos Sainz. Max Verstappen instead he struggled a lot and after a very difficult race he managed to get back into the points and ended the race in seventh position.
