At Ferrari there are those who often speak using the classic lead feet and those who, however, always try to see the glass half full, even when the situation is not so clear as to be able to predict what will happen at the weekend.
Charles Leclerc is the most positive voice of Ferrari, the one who avoids hiding, who avoids uttering words that could backfire once the race is over.
At Monte-Carlo, his home race, Charles has never achieved any notable results. The best is a fourth place achieved in the 2022 season, the first with ground effect cars.
Ferrari will arrive in the Principality in good shape. The updates brought to Imola worked and the Rossa was very close to Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, but McLaren was also equally – if not more – fast.

Here a three-way fight is looming in Monaco too, but with Leclerc who thinks he can fight for victory even though the SF-24 has not performed admirably during qualifying so far. And pole, in Monte-Carlo, is almost necessary to be able to aspire to success the following day.
“I feel good. This race is always special for me. It is for everyone, but for me even more so since I was born and raised there. I can’t wait to start the weekend. Up to this point we have been competitive and we hope that this can help us during the sessions. We think we have prepared perfectly and we hope it’s the right time (to win).”
“Getting on the podium here wouldn’t be worth that much, because the second and third steps aren’t that exciting. The goal is victory. We’re close to Red Bull and McLaren in qualifying and here we know how important it is.”
“Getting pole position would bring us closer to the goal of the weekend, which is to win. In Monaco we are all starting from scratch, there could be surprises. Let’s see how strong we are, but I would be surprised if we weren’t fighting for pole “, concluded the Monegasque.
