From pilots to voice actors. The two Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, temporarily abandoned their suit and helmet to immerse themselves in the new role of Disney Pixar voice actors.
The Monegasque and the Spaniard have lent their voices for Lightyear – The true story of Buzz, the latest creation from the film company that will tell the origins of Buzz Lightyear, the animated character who first appeared on the big screens in the now distant 1995.
The announcement was disseminated via the Disney Pixar social profiles. Leclerc lent his voice for the Italian version, while Sainz for the Spanish one, but it has not yet been revealed which characters in the film that the two pilots dubbed.
It is not the first time that a Ferrari driver has lent his voice for a Pixar film. Already in 2006 Michael Schumacher had “acted” in Italian by dubbing his character in the first chapter of Cars-Motori Roaring.
