F1: Jos Verstappen criticizes the news of Red Bull and Checo Pérez

The start of the 2024 season of the Formula 1 for Red Bull has had a drastic change in recent weeks, he went from dominating to having some problems that have made him Jos Verstappen think that the team’s good times have come to an end, especially because of the little help it generates Sergio Perez for his son.

The former driver criticized Red Bull’s performance in recent races and how other teams have surpassed the Austrians, such as Ferrari and McLaren.

“The era when Red Bull had the dominant car seems to be over. Maybe they should go back to focusing a little more on mutual communication in racing, rather than on other things,” Jos Verstappen told De Telegraaf.

He also had for the Mexican driver whom he has let know that there is more difference between his son and him, which Red Bull will have to solve. “Red Bull needs to find out where this problem is coming from, because it is clear that teams like Ferrari and McLaren are getting closer. Max has still been able to mask them a little, but the difference with Sergio Pérez is more evident,” he added.

Even so, he believes that Red Bull will have races in which it will return to the top but that when this is not possible they will have to see a way to resolve it to avoid losing to the rest of the rivals, “There will definitely be races where Red Bull will be back in good shapebut I am very curious to see how they are going to solve this,” he said.
