Now it’s official, the next Formula 1 season will have 23 races scheduled. Today the 2022 calendar was released, which will engage teams, drivers and professionals from March 20 to November 20.
It will start from Bahrain and then move the following week to the Jeddah track which will debut for the first time in Formula 1 this December, then the world championship circus will take 7 days off to fly to Australia and compete (COVID permitting) the Melbourne GP.
The novelty that catches the eye is the official entry of Imola in place of China. The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, confirmed until 2025, will be held on April 24th, then the Formula 1 caravan will move to the United States to race on the new Miami track on May 8th.
The month of May will be particularly intended for teams and drivers because the GPs of Barcelona and Monaco are scheduled between 22 and 29.
Two, however, the races scheduled for June. It starts on the 12th with the Azerbaijan GP before flying to Canada and competing in the Montreal Grand Prix the following week, while July will be a very busy month with 2 braces.
Day 3 the Silverstone GP will take place and the Austrian GP the following week. After 7 days to catch his breath, he will be back on track on 24 July for the French GP and immediately afterwards he will go to Budapest to race the Hungarian GP on 31 July.
