The 2024 Formula 1 European season is over. From this weekend onwards, the world championship Circus returns to its itinerant tour around the globe and the first stop of the final part of this World Championship is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
In Baku McLaren, Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari will battle it out again, as they have been doing since late spring. Since then, 3 victories each between Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes, with Red Bull unable to respond to the improvements of its rivals.
Verstappen and the Milton Keynes team still occupy the top of the standings, but it is starting to become clear that the RB20 no longer has the energy to dominate, let alone to systematically counter the forceful comeback of its rivals.

Every track we come across could hold more than one surprise, because it is now clear that there are no dominators with a margin such as to tyrannize over a Formula 1 that welcomes the current uncertainty with great favor and that hopes – like all the fans – it can last over time until Abu Dhabi…
