In Haas they will remember for a long time this 2022 season. The American team took center stage at the end of February, during the first test session in Barcelona, when it decided to ride with a car without the logos of the Russian sponsor Uralkali. and with a totally white livery by removing the blue and red bands that resembled the colors of the flag of Russia.
Earlier this week, Gene Haas’ team announced the termination of Nikita Mazepin’s contract, infuriating the Russian who threatens legal action against his now former team, and yesterday appointed the driver who will join Mick Schumacher in this season: Kevin Magnussen.
In order not to miss anything, the team was forced to skip the morning shift of the first day of testing in Bahrain following a technical problem with the cargo transporting all the material.
The team mechanics worked hard to assemble the VF-22 so that Pietro Fittipaldi could run in the afternoon session. On this occasion it was also possible to admire the new livery that Haas will adopt for this season.

Via the sponsor Uralkali and the colors of the Russian flag, white, red and black are now dominating on the single-seater of the American team.
The bottom of the car, as before, is entirely white, while the Haas logo in red appears in full view on the bellies – embraced by a red band – on the front wing and rear wing. Carbon black, on the other hand, is present in the lower area of the car and helps to streamline the important shapes of the VF-22.
