[Aggiornamento al termine della corsa] – In the first race of the last 2021 round of the Formula Regional, held in Monza, the party was all French. The victory in fact smiled at the transalpine driver Hadrien David, started from pole and passed first under the checkered flag. The rider of the R-ace GP team preceded his teammate and compatriot Isack Hadjar, second at the finish line after starting from sixth position on the grid. For Hadjar the 18 points of the second place also mean the arithmetic conquest of the title of rookie of the year, thanks to the simultaneous retirement of our Gabriele Minì. The Sicilian is now 29 points behind his rival, with only Race-2 to go. The podium of this first stage in Monza closes Zane Maloney – also part of the R-ace team – able to beat the new champion Grégoire Saucy, fourth at the end of the race.
