During April 18, the SMN reported, an anticyclonic circulation will be recorded at medium levels of the atmosphere which will maintain the heat wave with a hot to very hot environment, so maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 °C are expected.

Likewise, this day there will be intervals of showers, due to the entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea, which will cause rains and showers in the central areas of the country.
