The access highway to Escombreras has presented retentions throughout the morning
The strike called at a national level at Repsol facilities had a one hundred percent follow-up in the butane supply factory, 95% in the one that manufactures asphalt derivatives (Rilesa) and 50% in the fuel refinery , as reported this Friday by the Repsol Workers’ Union (SPR).
An informative picket is highlighted at the refinery entrance, in Escombreras, from 5:30 in the morning. SPR also reports that the stoppages have led to significant traffic delays on the access highway to the industrial valley of Escombreras, where Repsol’s facilities are located.
From the multinational company they indicated that “it is working normally.” In no case will the stoppages give rise to situations of shortages, as confirmed by the convening unions.
The called strike, which began at midnight this Friday and is scheduled to last until the same time from Sunday to Monday, is part of the protests by Repsol employees nationwide, to request a salary increase of more than 2% annual rate established by their agreement, given that the expected inflation is close to 10%.
