Palmar de Bravo, Puebla.- Three people lost their livesamong them a 6 year old boy of age, after an explosion due to gas accumulation in a home in the community of San Miguel Xaltepec, municipality of Palmar de Bravo, Puebla.
The General Coordination of Civil Protection of the State of Puebla reported that It is ruled out that the explosion was caused by pyrotechnic materialas had been handled in the first versions.
“Following an explosion in the San Isidro neighborhood, in the Auxiliary Board of San Miguel Xaltepec, belonging to the municipality of Palmar de Bravo, it is reported that it is ruled out that the explosion was caused by pyrotechnic material; attributed to gas accumulation. So far the death of three people has been reported,” reported Civil Protection.
For his part, the governor of Puebla, Sergio Salomón expressed his condolences to the families of the three victims and urged citizens to raise awareness about gas safety in homes.
“Today an unfortunate event occurred in #PalmarDeBravo due to a gas explosion in a home. I am informed that, sadly, three people died, including a child under six years old. The teams from @SEDENAmx, firefighters and @PC_Estatal are on the scene. “It is vital to raise awareness about gas safety in homes. My sincere condolences to the families of the victims.”
The explosion of the house occurred around 3:00 p.m. this Friday in the San Isidro neighborhood, when the residents of the area They heard a loud bang, and even glass burst from the windows of nearby houses.
State Civil Protection, elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), volunteer firefighters from Tecamachalco and paramedics from the Advanced Medical Emergency System went to the scene.
