The UAE has been keen to move towards renewable or alternative energy, as the state pays most attention to keeping pace with developments and technology to ensure the country’s continued growth and progress, and seeks to achieve a sustainable environment, in order to preserve water resources and rely heavily on many forms of clean energy.
The UAE relies on the application of green development, by relying on other sources of energy, such as solar and wind energy, and the settlement of nuclear technology as the first Arab country in the Arab world, by operating the peaceful nuclear reactor in Barakah to produce electricity.
