Yesterday, the Emirates Foundation for School Education directed its employees to conduct a “Covid 19” test (nose test BCR) every seven days, at their own expense, and present the results of the examination before entering the workplace.
This is based on a circular from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, which it recently issued, which includes an amendment to some measures to address the Corona pandemic at the federal government level.
The amendment aims to ensure the safety of employees at their workplace.
According to the circular, employees who have received two doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine are excluded from the examination every seven days, with the need to present a certificate of vaccination before entering the workplace.
Employees who have obtained a medical report approved by the official health authorities in the country, indicating that they cannot receive the vaccine, according to their medical condition, are excluded, provided that the employer undertakes to conduct a nasal swab test (PCR) for them every seven days, after providing a documented medical report. The circular stated that the line manager is responsible for overseeing the commitment of his employees to apply the examination.
In the event of non-compliance, the Human Capital Department shall be informed of the application of the sanctions contained in the guideline. The circular will be applied from today (Sunday).
On the other hand, the Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, has allocated a number of centers to provide approved vaccinations for its employees and workers, the Emirates Foundation for School Education, employees of private schools, government and private institutes and universities, and school students in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
Sharjah included five centers: the Expo Center in Sharjah, the Al Bustan Suburb Council, the University City Hall in Kalba, the Hayawa Suburb Council in the city of Khor Fakkan, and the Dibba Al Hisn Suburb Council. Ras Al Khaimah included two centers: the Exhibition Center and the Sports Hall in the southern Al Dhait region. Ajman included one center, the Teacher Training Institute.
