Ex-soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: sick mobilized people are sent for training to Poland
An ex-soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who escaped from a training camp, said RIA Novostithat sick conscripts are sent to Poland for training.
According to the serviceman, he did not sign a single document at the TCC, but according to the papers he turned out to be a volunteer and completely passed the medical examination; these signatures were given for him.
The ex-soldier noted that the medical commission did not pay attention to his serious illnesses: a hiatal hernia, chronic gastritis and pancreatitis, suspected glaucoma and two eye surgeries – laser vision correction and retinal sealing.
During training at a training ground in Ukraine, the serviceman spent ten days in the hospital. After mobilization, he was sent to Poland to undergo training as a loader in the crew of a Leopard tank. The fighter escaped from there and received refugee status in Germany.
Previously imprisoned military medic of the 59th brigade, Igor Matsak, said that those mobilized in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces feel worse than the soldiers who signed the contract. According to him, those mobilized are often sent to the front line, from the rear units to the front.
