The former president was heading to the center of the country to participate in a radio program when his car began to be shot several times.
The former president of Bolivia Evo Morales denounced this Sunday that he was the victim of an assassination attempt when the vehicle in which he was traveling was shot fourteen times.
Morales was heading from Villa Tunari to his program in Lauca Ñ, in the center of the country, to participate in a radio program when his car began to receive several shots, some of which hit the front window.
The former president has posted a video of the incident on his social networks in which he denounces that he is being “persecuted.”
Morales adds one of his drivers has suffered injuries to the head and arm but “finally we saved his life”, without giving more details about his condition.
The former president, finally, accuses his former Minister of Economy and current president of the country, Luis Arce, of this assassination attempt, with whom he has had numerous clashes in recent months. “Lucho went crazy,” he said.
